The Sawtooth River
( Just to show how long and large and winding this river actually is )
There is a river that runs all the way from the northern most point of The Sawtooth Pack's territory, through the center, and down to the south. It meets the lake, and then continues on, with a few waterfalls and streams in its wake. The main Waterfall is very high up, between rocks and trees, and if you where to fall down it, you would most certainly die. The only animals that hang out up by the falls are eagles, bears and beavers. Lower down, just at the foot of the large waterfall is where the bears like to hang out as well, because that is where the salmon spawn every year. The Sawtooth Wolves know that they can fish there, and Kou, having to survive merely on fish most of her life is a professional at it. The lower river also has a smaller waterfall which it controls the flow of the water in the rainy season, and keeps it from breaching its banks. The river goes through so many different kinds of areas that scoping one of them would be nearly impossible.
